We had 11 teams show for the first C&J Team Trails event for 2011/2012 at a low and a little dingy Lake Bruin. Water temp was 69-74 with mostly cloudy skies and a on and off lite breeze! Everyone reported catching a lot of keepers with 10 out of 11 boats weighing in a limit.

1st. George Prince & Robby Roberts with 5 fish for 14lbs 10oz.
2nd. William Hatton & Jason Lebrun with 5 fish for 13lbs 12.5oz.
3rd. Terrell Foster & Destri Dedeaux with 5 fish for 13lbs 11oz.
4th. Jay Ladner & Randy Ladner with 5 fish for 13lbs 8.5oz and BB 4lbs 2.5oz.
5th. Justin Foster & Matt Smith with 5 fish for 13lbs 4.5oz.
6th. Jeff Wells & Brandon Kirby with 5 fish for 12lbs 4.5oz.
7th. Jeff King & Ricky Gray with 5 fish for 11lbs 8oz.
8th. John Bruce & Kenn Huff with 5 fish for 11lbs 2oz.
9th. Chip Gennaro & Jeff Covington with 5 fish for 9lbs 10oz.
10th. Kenneth Murphy & Randy Howell with 5 fish for 9lbs 3oz.
11th. Wayne Richardson & Bobby Myers with 3 fish for 3lbs 9.5oz.

Yep. Need to get the numbers up. Wish I would had time back then to mass mail the 3 or 4000 in our data base. Slipped up on me and sold my little boat just before the Bruin deal or I would have been there. New boat will be ready within the week.

thanks to all who fished Lake Bruin. George and I hit on our winning fish after 2pm. that shows that you should never quit till the bell rings. spooked a few but the elk river jig caught the weighers we used at the scales. it has been over 20 years since i wet a hook on Barrnett hope my feeder creeks have not silted in over the years. If all 11 teams will bring one more team with them to RB we will doing a big favor to all involved. the competition level is there!!! just proud to be a part of the group!!
